Kaananam Season 2 Officially Inaugurated

Kaananam Season 2 – The Rhythm of Wild (2025) was officially inaugurated at the Kerala Lalitha Kala Academy Art Gallery, Kozhikode, marking the continuation of a powerful artistic journey celebrating forests, wildlife, and nature conservation.

The inaugural ceremony was held on 23 December 2025 at 12 PM and witnessed the presence of eminent personalities from the fields of forestry, conservation, and natural history.

The exhibition was formally inaugurated by Smt. R. Keerthi IFS, Conservator of Forests, Social Forestry – Northern Region. In her inaugural address, she emphasized the importance of environmental awareness, conservation efforts, and the role of art and visual storytelling in connecting society with nature.

The event was graced by Sri. Sathyan Meppayur, Naturalist and Secretary of MNHS, as the Chief Guest. His words highlighted the deep relationship between humans and the natural world, and the responsibility of present generations to preserve ecological balance.

Kaananam Season 2 presents a thoughtfully curated collection that captures “The Rhythm of the Wild”, portraying the beauty, fragility, and spirit of forests and wildlife through artistic expression. The exhibition invites visitors to pause, observe, and reconnect with nature in its purest form.
